Stopping Elements 4 pop up?

Hello,

I installed elements 4 after installing some Epson scanning packages. Now when a page is scanned and the file saved, it pops up in Elements 4.

I can’t find a setting to stop this behavior. What have I missed?

–For any Adobe programmers lurking, this is a really stupid default "feature."

The setting will be in your scanner software. When you scan in something, it specifies where to send the scanned file.
