I’m wondering if anyone can tell me how to force PS CS3 to use an underscore and not a hyphen when saving files.
If I save a file as My File.psd, or My File.TIF, everything is fine, but when I then try to save for the web (as jpeg) it forces it to My-File.jpg.
I don’t mind the added character, but how can I tell PS that if it wants to add characters I want to use an underscore and not a hyphen. In other words, My_File.jpg is fine, but My-File.jpg is not.
I have tried to change the hyphen to a an underscore in the output settings dialog (found in the save for web dialog box) but it just doesn’t work. The files come out with a hyphen no matter what the dialog box says. I’ve searched help, reviewed all preferences I can find, but not luck. Surely there must be a way to do this, but I’m not sure where to look.
Thanks for any suggestions
