Sorry to go back 2 versions, but I script PsCS2 and just haven’t needed any of the features available in newer versions …
A common task for me is to have 2 indexed images open and use one for defining a selection for the other. This is all well and good except that I run into problems for larger files. It seems if the image bitmaps exceed a specific size (~12Mp), then the ability to load a selection from the "other" document disappears, while all other Ps functionality remains.
Is anyone aware of a remedy or workaround? (eg, RAM related?) Does anyone know the exact threshold or why this happens? Was it fixed in subsequent versions of Ps?
CS2 on Intel powered Windows XP (sp3), 2Gb RAM
TIA 🙂
