I am using Windows XP and Photoshop 6. I have 2 problems that did not exist when I used Photoshop 6 with Windows 98 and am wondering if there are options I can change to make Photoshop function the same as in 98.

(1) To move a currently inactive window, you must click TWICE. Once to select it, the 2nd time to drag it. In 98 you could click once and be able to drag it.

(2) In Photoshop, when I select a window in displays the full file path in a yellow box. I would like to prevent the extra display.

Thanks for any suggestions readers may have.

For #2, you can’t.

For #1, it’s unclear if you mean an image window within photoshop, or windows in XP in general.

Re: #1 I am speaking of image windows in photoshop ONLY. Windows in XP in general do NOT do this. YOu can select and drag with one click BUT in Photoshop one must click to select AND then click again to drag. This is in XP only – on my other computer running 98 – it does not behave this way. Thx.
