Is there an easy way to rasterize or flatten styles on a layer so that the styles are no longer editable?

Thanks

Not really necessary. Control G, Control E – just press them one after the other.

Just a tip :

sometimes it will seem it doesn’t look the same after the merge down using a style layer group

if that happens go into the effects palette and tick the blending mode boxes options (blend as group)
