I have Photoshop CS4, which was handed down to me second hand. I have no plug-ins or any such thing, but I am lost to the fact of restoring my old family photographs. Some are in a washed out colour, but most in black and white, or sepia. Is the a tutorial that I can gain to help me touch up scratches and folds and such like? any help is appreciated!

There are many tutorials out there but one good source is: "retouch pro forums", where you can find tutorials and an helping community. One more thing: be prepared to spend a long time restoring your photos, and don’t expect any plug-ins to do such a job for you. Sweat, blood and tears 🙂
