Action to make thumps and create subfolders

Hey there,

Does anyone knows if its possible to make an action that loops through a folder with images and creates subfolders containing thumps of the images?

I don’t know of an action but if you go to file>automate> web photo gallery PS will create two new folders from your target folder. One containing html pages and the other containing thumbnails. Then you just delete the pages folder.

well i guess thats possible … it might an idea if i looked into some kind of tool more suited for this task … ideas are welcome 🙂

I don’t know of an action but if you go to file>automate> web photo
gallery
PS will create two new folders from your target folder. One containing
html
pages and the other containing thumbnails. Then you just delete the pages folder.

yes,
file > automate > web foto gallery
makes a gallery
make a new map not to overwrite the existing pics
in this new map all the thumbnails and resized pic are stored in sub maps

IrfanView will also do this without creating the html pages and is more flexible. Also has a number of other features I find useful. http://irfanview.tuwien.ac.at/
