Hi,

can one of you pro’s help me out in defining the best selections for a gold colour and one for a silver colour.
Christmas is coming up and you know these colours are perfectly for the text coulours.

Greetings,
Marcel

I saved this from "MyJanee" awhile back for the gold: "Oooh i know! I know! I discovered this color to use for gold. It is rich and pure, not brassy… It is #BEAD90. Type this in in the # part (the hexadecimal section) of your color picker. Easy to remember, too. 😉

And if you want to see it in action, i have put together a tutorial on Antique Gold which you can find at
http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/antgold/antgold.htm . (You don’t have to antique it. I have directions both ways.) Hope this helps! Always me, Janee

FEA000 IS A VERY GOOD GOLD, ALSO.

BFBFC6 (a light grey from the blue hue) is a pretty good start for silver, but it needs some reflection of other colors to give it depth and believability. It’s the making it "shiny" that gives it depth.

Janee, I love the effect you created but it’s very laborious – do you have an action for it?
