I wonder if there is any experts develp a nice technique for producing seamless material? I saw some one using High Pass filter and mixed with others. But I am not sure how High Pass really going to work. Any suitable link?

High Pass???

Are you thinking of tiles for patterns etc?

Then here´s a popular method:

Filter>Other>Offset, offset a fixed value for x and y that you can remember again (I don´t remember if it takes percentages these days, but try 50%).

Use the Rubber Stamp (clone) Tool to erase/blend in the seams.

You can now either offset the tile back to its original position (revert values from before with Offset filter), or leave it as it is. – It´s now a seamless tile.

Adding to Mathias’ statement,

Make a design in a perfect square then:

Flip horizontal and flip vertical duplications of your design. Doing this will give you a perfect pattern.
