Program issue

When I try to open Photoshop 7, it runs through the initialization process and then closes the window. It was working before but no longer works. The only changes made to the PC was adding a USB digital camera.
Anyone have any idea what could be causing it? It is a Window XP system and the user that is attempting to open the program, has administrative rights.

reset your prefrences per the FAQ:
