I am asking a sincere question.
Seems to me as if the surf in front of the motorcycle is a patch. Here
is what I think is the outline of the patch (yellow line):
The surf is an almost straight line, in reality it should align better
with the shape of the pannier, the vehicle frame, the driver's knee.
The wet parts of the vehicle body (red line) are just a few inches above
the water line. In a strong current like this, I'd expect more of the
vehicle to be wet.
And the driver's knee is entirely dry, I thought that was unlikely.

I thought it was real because of the wet higher up on the motorcycle.
I've had people send me pictures and ask what I thought, too.

I googled it (the image) and found a page of links. Didn't go over them to
see what people were saying, or possible info about the actual picture. It
looks like there are other pictures (not in the water) of the same setting.

If it is not faked, then it is the moment before the motorcycle
completely fails because the carburetors (or fuel injectors) are
under-water and dysfunctional. Another hint is the borderline of the
water and earth which defies depth-of-field.
It is either a fake or a picture of the motorcyclist about to bail out

If it's real it probably wouldn't be very good for the motorccycle LOL

That is not *good* unless you think plastic or alabaster doll
surface is some sort of ideal skin for a woman. But your point
about it not being real is good!

If the bike is moving forward, your expectation that the surf
would not appear roughly as a straight line perp to the 'film'
plane is unreliable

This too is flawed reasoning, because there would be a moment at
which the water had splashed to what you see, why could the snap
have not been taken at that point?

I thought the bike was just sitting still in the water, having been ridden
or pushed in till it died and came to a stop. Also, where is the person
taking the picture- out on the water in a boat?

So deeply immersed in Water, a bike can move only very slowly. The surf
appears not to be caused by the bike's movement, but by the current
coming from the left. Therefore, the surf should align closely with the
pannier, the driver's knee and especially with the gap between these
two. Instead, it stands there like a wall.

Interesting topic for discussion, overall. So much now is doctored, there's
even a word for it now (outside of graphic design/art) "photoshopped".
(well I'm sure everyone here knows this.)

I'm surprised there isn't a law passed now saying anything that is changed
or "photoshopped" has to be marked that. Though it could also be seen as
"artistic license". Inhancing and changing- creating pictures is a form of
art.

The L'Oreal TV ads in this country (for hair color, too) are "unreal". Of
course, the lighting, and such might also help. For one thing, they show a
model (or known actress) with long, thick hair, suppoosedly colored with
L'Oreal hair color. When one box of hair color is about enough for hair that
might be shoulder length. A person would have to buy 2 boxes to color the
long thick hair like they show. But I don't think it says this on the
commercials.
At one time, the person in the commercial supposedly had to actually use
the product they were showing. I wonder if some of these famous celebrities
(with the long thick hair) actually colored it (themselves) with one box of
L'Oreal.
Not really the topic (Photoshop) but related.

I'v have Voivod blocked from the first post, so it's sometimes hard to
figure out who's writing what on here.
But, I've been around others like her.
I know, we don't really know it's a woman, but I can't imagine a man

It's hard to believe there's more than one person online like that, but
there probably are. They must get something out of it, feel better about

ridicule and poke fun at.
That's because you're too fucking stupid to figure out attributes and
quote levels.

You can't imagine a world where you're a useless harridan whom no one
cares about... Too bad you're in one.

Au contraire, ma petite.
It's to put down others so that you can rise in your own esteem.
