I’m a new Mac user after only using MS for years. I bought Photoshop 6 from an established seller on Ebay before Christmas without realising it wouldn’t install on the latest Mac Book system. Is there any way I can get it to install and run or have I wasted my money?

I couldn’t find anything on Google saying that this version is PPC only or not. If that’s the case, you can still run it in PPC emulation using Rosetta. You have to install that from your system install disk that came with your MacBook. It will run slower than an Intel-native version but if you don’t live in Photoshop, you should be OK. BTW, the current version is CS5 which has Photoshop 12, so you bought something that’s absolutely ancient. I hope you didn’t spend more than $50 for it.
