I have created a skull with flames as eyes, BUT…….. How do I ad depth ? Meaning the image should look like the "flamingeyes" are inside the hollow of the eyes.

Do anyone know a tutorial or have a piece of advice ?

Well done already!
I would play with the dodge & burn tools to add depth. Follow the shadows and highlights that are already in the picture. You could also use a bevel & emboss layer style.

It depends on your Photoshop skill, and I would say some basic commands like

1. LAYER should be needed

2. Quick Mask can be real handy if you know how to use it.

3. Since it’s some type of art you can always benefit from Dodge/Burn command

That’s about it! if you know how to use those basic command well (of course with skillful Brush Stroke command) nothing can stop you.

Steen, I think you need nothing more than Curves and Hue/Saturation

No you don’t! those are not the commands you really want. Or if you only want to say "thanks" then it could be, but not the good tool for blaming eyes.

Kind regards

Nice job. I would add a bit more lighting effect to the interior of the sockets.
