Hello,
I am new to photoshop and am having some trouble with the cropping feature. I would like to crop a picture without it changing anything else. Once I crop a picture it cuts away at my template (background) and everything else. I tried hiding everything and cropping the picture and it still effected the other layers. I tried putting the picture in its own group and cropping it and it still effected the other group. I don’t know how to crop a picture without it effecting anything else in the work area. Please help!
Also, the tutorial I found for making dvd covers was almost 2 years old. It suggested using a resolution of 200 for pics used for a dvd cover. Is this still standard?
Thank you very much!!
