How am I going to use my scanner now? I use it a lot. Do I have to uninstall v9 and re-install v7???

I don’t use Photoshop Elements but according to the info on http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-scan-images-int o-photoshop-elements-9.html it is possible to scan into Elements v9 for the Windows O/S at least. The link also has the options for Elements v9 on the Mac O/S.

In the Organizer you can go to the File menu, select "Get Photos and Videos" and then "From Scanner…".
Choose your scanner, Scanner software launches etc…
I just did it, it works with my Epson V500. Have to close the scanner windows after it’s finished and then the image
is imported into the Organizer in folder "Pictures/Adobe/Photos from Removable Media/ Scanned Photos"
