Hi

Does anyone know how to make a slide show in Photoshop CS2 from JPEG images, then ideally transfer to DVD using photoshop.

If Photoshop cannot transfer to DVD, Please advise how to make a slide show, as once the slide show is complete I can always use Windows DVD maker to make the DVD.

Thanks in advance

Marcus

I believe someone else just asked a similar question few days ago. Again, ProShow Gold (or similar) is a very good one to make DVD slideshow.

ProShow Gold has often to burn directly to DVD but I would suggest to save the MPG to hard drive then burn to DVD later using DVD Authoring program like TMPGenc which is also a very good DVD Authoring. Again, most DVD Author programs are pretty much similar to each other, but TMPGenc v3.x (or newer like current v4.x) has some unique feature most other don’t.

About MPG, MPG is the universal extension for video, so it can be VCD. SVCD. KSVCD, and DVD as well as HD etc. I write this just incase someone jumps in saying MPG is not as good as DVD (cuz they are the same).

Use something more dedicated to make slide shows.
I use Roxio. Don’t think I could make it with CS2.

Adobe Encore will make slide shows.

Or try Google for a free program to use, see if Jalbum will do the job.

Don’t forget the free Picassa. Does slideshows and more.

It takes lot of time to create a DVD presentation, so I would suggest to spend little $$$ on some good presentation/slideshow program like ProShow Gold or similar.

Yes. there are tons of programs can do slideshow, but finding the one that worth the time and energy then there are very few.

Why do you post a one_word letter with a four_lined address? You are nothing more than a simple spamer.

I understood what you said.

But PP is not the solution.(see even a further abbreviation)

There are heaps of free slide show makers around.

Right, I was just offering a simple solution to the OP’s problem. If he had spent the money for Photoshop, Office was less, is pretty universally adaptable, multiplatformal, and the slideshow could easily be burnt on a CD. As you say, there are others.

I didn’t reckon it was worth an insult.

The problem with using PP for a slideshow is that the image is converted to PP’s own compression, which is poor.
