Photoshop Version 7 with Windows XP.
When Photoshop is starting up it trys to go on-line to check for updates. This has been OK in the past but I am now getting the following error message:

File could not be downloaded.
<http://cgi…tform:0DLLVer=2.8.3.3AOMVer=2.8.3.3> There was a problem connecting to Adobe Online. Please check you network settings in the Internet Control Panel.

I have checked my settings and can’t find anything wrong. Anybody any ideas.

Cheers.

There won’t be any further updates to PS7 as it is now three versions old (I’m assuming you have the 7.0.1 update) so it’s okay to disable the option to automatically check for them.
