?Suddenly the icons that I see in picture files are just blue icons with PSE on them.

I need for these to be the actual pictures…..how can I do this?

Thanks.

I get that when I edit an image with adjustment layers and PSE saves it as a ..psd file.
I get the blue icon rather than the image when doing an icon directory list for the psd files.
Do a Save As for the final image as a .jpg but the layers will collapse into 1 layer.

?They are actually jpeg files. The icons just show as pse with no picture. Before the icons were actually pictures. I really need this back. Thanks.
Also. I never do layers.

Sorry I can’t help more. I’m a novice with PSE. I only see the blue icon with PSD in the top left and PSE
across the center for psd files

The only other time I don’t see an image in a Windows directory window is with Nikon Raw files where
I get an image of a camera.

Try the Adobe web site and maybe the forums.

Hmm, it’s never been any different here, through all the versions of PSE I’ve used (9 now.) Jpg, gif and tif show icon images; PSDs have always shown PSE. I’d love to know if you find out how to change that.
