I refuse to change my screen resolution to 1024 x 768 for my copy of CS to work properly. due to an eye problem, i have to keep the resolution to 800 x 600. I use the raw conversion regularly and with my old version of PS 7.01 and the RAW plug-in, the screen size worked just fine for the 800×600. I called tech support and they got huffy with me and said that it could not be done. Does anyone know how i can change the opening raw screen size to fit my monitor resolution of 800×600. I thank you in advance.

You can’t. The system requirement for CS is 1024×768 screen resolution. Your only alternative is return Photoshop CS. Adobe has a 30 day return policy. But you can’t change the specs for the program no matter how hard you wish.

Thanks for the reply, Jeff. i am caught between a rock and a hard place. i really like the new CS and do not want to return it. i have to ponder the problem.

Have you tried adjusting the Display Properties font size instead of using a lower resolution to get bigger fonts? The Photoshop UI won’t adjust to match the larger font size preference, but most of the system will.
