OK, here’s the question– how do I take a color image, and replace colors while keeping the shadows and brights intact.
IE, if I wanted to take a brunette, and turn her into a blond, how would I do so in such a way that the shadows and highlights in the hair are kept intact?
I believe it’s some combinatio of layer and brush settings, but I don’t know which. Obviously Darken does it if the undercoat is darker– such as if you’re coloring a peice of line art, but what about when you’re dealing with both dark and lighter sectoins?
