Hi there,

I have a project where some of the pix are already raised borders such as in the attached….

I need to add pix to the web site which have the same "raised borders" as the attached.

How do I do it in Photoshop CS 9 with image ready?

I only have PS 6, but in that you would go to Layers menu>Layer Style>Bevel and Emboss: Style: Inner Bevel

BTW, it’s preferable that you not add attachments to non binary news groups. Unload instead, please.

Re the newsgroups, how do I know if it’s binary or non-binary? I am new to this one, ha…

The binary groups have the word "binaries" in the name, as in: alt.binaries.comp-graphics You have to decide how well protected you feel about downloading files from strangers, or what type of content might appear. It seems most of these groups are interested in showing and sharing their images more than discussing the how-to’s though.

However, if you simply upload the image somewhere, then you can put the URL in your new group message; no muss, no fuss.

And, FYI, it’s best to not use your real e-mail address in newgroup headers or within messages. You’re opening yourself up to a world of spam.
