Who cares.

Are THEY going to come round and take a note of your printers serial number.

If I was a member of a subversive group, putting out anti Bush or anti Tony Propaganda, I would make sure the Printer concerned changed location pretty often.

If it was an Epson I would just use 3rd party ink, the nozzle blockages would render the coding useless.

Or of course I could just buy a new Lexmark every week.
