Does anyone know how to copy multiple layers from one document to another?

I have tried linking and grouping them. It still copies only one at a time. I can’t figure out how to select multiple layers.

I don’t want to flatten or merge them.

PS 7.01 Windows.

Link your target layers.

Top right, Layers Palette, drop-down menu…"New Set From Linked…"

Go to drop down menu again…"Duplicate Layer Set…"

Can be copied to a new document or to another document you already have open.

Link them and put them in a set, then you can drag the set.

Another way is to link the layers you want to move, select the move tool and drag from the image into another image, not from the layers palette.
