OK, Adobe, I’ve got my Canon 20D.
So when will ACR support the new file format?

at a guess as soon as Canon has ironed out all the bugs based on consumer responses?

Huh? The file format is independent of any hardware compatibility issues there may or may not be. Adobe has to adjust a few parameters based on RGB primaries as implemented on the CMOS sensor, and as converted (e.g. noise profile) by the Digic chips (all hardware). It’s all in the hands of Adobe now.

Maybe Adobe wants to, or must, wait for the official announcement of the new DSLR at Photokina on the 27th of this month so they can include that in their release.

When Canon gets off its ass and makes the map available to Adobe. Relax already.
