hi all,

i have an outdoor pic that i’ve taken, and it has a uniform, pale blue, bland sky.

i’m trying to duplicate the sky in this picture.

i love the way it starts a dark blue, then fades to a lighter blue. can someone get me started in the right direction?

thanks in advance.

I am also rather new, but your project is very similar to an example mentioned in one of my textbooks. Without going into great detail, let me suggest that try an "adjustment level" with a gradient. Explore this, try it out, research the concept of adjustment levels and the use of gradients, because this combination will give you that beautiful sky you are looking for.

CORRECTION:

When I mentioned "adjustment level", I really meant "adjustment layer". Sorry.
