Upgrade from German to English version

Hello everyone,

I currently own a German version of Adobe Photoshop 6, and would like to upgrade to an *English* version of Photoshop CS. My question, therefore: Will the English CS version recognize the serial number of my German Photoshop 6, or will I have to upgrade to the German CS version?

I hope that someone can help me :o)
