Sorry. Maybe it’s just me, but I read this twice and cannot figure out what you want to do. Can you please try explaining again.
The picture is .psd file . It is a picture of a metal badge which has 5 corners based on circle in the middle. Each corner has different light on it. I want to cut of the base of one corner and keep the rest of the picture just as it is. The corner of the cut out side gets placed in the same place except its base . How can I remove the base and copy the top corner on its base without making it look normal. Copy and paste makes it look like glued picture.I want a better way to do it.
Thanks for the time
When you cut a piece of an image and then paste it, you create a new layer. I think what you need to do is play around with the layer settings (e.g., normal, overlay, hue, saturation, dissolve, etc.). There is a drop-down box with these layer options (and more) in the Layers palette. Try different settings here to see which looks the best. You could also play around with the opacity settings for that layer. Fianlly, make sure you zoom in sufficiently so you can paste the cut corner and line things up properly. At a higher magnification, you will be able to tell how the two layers are lining up.
Does this help?
Yes, It does help. With a new layer. I cut the base and pasted the base from another corner in the new layer. Changed the angles to show the light with the original direction. At the base used brush to paint the similar color. Now the question is how do I make that area metalic?
Appreciate your time.
Thanks
You could try using the clone tool or clone pattern tool to copy from another area. You might have to merge down the layers first.
