Dear all,

How to preview psd file by Windows picture and fax viewer? It is no problem with .jpg or other formats but .psd.

You could get one of the free graphics viewer programs, such as Irfanview.

The newer version of IrfanView does support PSD files.

Acdsee can see the file.
If in windows you can set which program to open that PSD file. Go to my computer / tools / file formats. There you can set the program to open that file.

Why change what programs can open it.
You might want Acdsee to view it but you would not want it to open it, as by doing that once open in Acdsee you would loose all the layers.

Using PS CS and ACDSee 6.0 I just tried that, and you don’t.
