I seem to experience problems with text when rasterizing large files in photoshop.
When I rasterize large files (mainly pdf’s), all the images and background will rasterize perfectly but portions of text will drop out.
For example, if the document has text that reads "Large Sign", it will raster without the "Si" and without half the g or so. It tends to happen to the end of any text. If I reduce the resolution to around 100 ppi, it will rasterize all the text. If the resolution is 250+ it will not. It happens when I open the document and when I create a new document and place the pdf. Yet, the text shows up in the preview of the placed pdf.
It is done with Photoshop 7.0 on 2.2 Ghz Intel P4 with 1 gig or ram.
Any ideas.
Thanks, Zach.
