I use PS7 and I have calibrated my monitor to the best my eyes can see. When I print, the images usually (80% of the time) come out slightly lighter than desired.
But every once in a while (20%), I get a printout that is what I see on the screen.

I realize the percentages should be reversed if the calibration is correct. But is this difference due to using an inexpensive printer?

Is there somewhere I can get more up-to-date monitor profiles for PS7?

Now THAT is funny!

I take it to mean "profiled your printer as well" as there ain’t any cal work you can do.

Using Adobe Gamma Loader I presume? You did not say.

"Lighter" than desired normally indicates you are either in a larger color space than sRGB or you have a gamma problem.

I don’t know… what printer are you using? If you mentioned it earlier, I must have missed it.
