My PC monitor has a problem and I dont know if it is possible to fix or I have to throw out this one and get a new one…

everything is kind of blurry, I dont get sharp text and I have to lower down the bright and contrast settings to get a better image (it gets sharper but I dont get the real colors, everything is way darker)

Should I get a new one or can I fix this by getting drivers or giving it to a repair man?

Since you failed to give any useful information such as model, size, age, and even what hardware you are using it on the best reply is YES buy a new monitor. Then again it could be graphic card. Best to try it on another machine, but since you are unable to provide coherent information I am sure you could not figure it out.

I would at least try newer drivers if there are any. We don’t know anything about your particular monitor, so it’s not possible to answer further.

Some graphics card control windows have a sharpening slider that is off by default (nVidia for example).
