Hello,
Would someone please tell me how you get pictures into the layers such as Layer 1; layer 2 etc. My background layer is fine; i just donot know where to go from there as far as getting pictures into the layers. I get layers, but i do not know how to put pictures into them.

Or how do i make an image’s background transparent when
placing it on top of another image? Do i meed to use the layers palette for that?

You need to start at page 1 of the manual.

Take a look through the first few chapters of your manual.

Open all the pictures, so you see them all on your screen.

From there, you can copy and paste them into layers in one image, or (better) just click on the Move tool and drag a picture from one window into another.
