What happens if you web-shift a color and it can not find a web safe color equivalent? Does it just dither it?

What is the difference of using the Diffusion option instead of using dither option in optimize palette?

"websafe" and "dither" are pretty much a thing of the past, since everyone is using video capability of at least 16 bit anymore.

Sorry if I offend any of you folks still set for 256 colors or less 🙂
