When I create the image for my site right? How do I add text to it, outside of photoshop what program?

You add it by simply a HTML file, (.htm), which is merely a text file with HTML tags.

You can use any text editor, like NotePad, and an HTML tag guide. Or a bazillion editors, HotDogPro, FrontPage, DreamWeaver, GoLive, etc, etc.

ya but when i add the text in notepad it shifts my slices

don’t put the text into the tables generated by IR or PS.

if you use dreamweaver, you can make a layout box and set bakgruond image. then you can add text
