Hi there,.
A friend has been asked to restore some badly damaged old photographs. I was able to help (up to a point) but I recall that there was a website with free tutorials especially for photoshop users to restore old images. Can anyone remember this website’s address?
Thanks,
NICK

Excellent work Sam. This is just the site to help my friend. I have had a bit of a look at the site and even though I am not restoring old photographs, it is nice to increase knowledge of Photoshop. Thanks for your help.

What a nifty site! I like the idea of challenges. Sometimes I want to work on things that are not for work!

thanks for posting that one Sam.

After looking at the retouch site again I was wondering if it was still an active site. I don’t see any new messages or stuff since February. It would be too bad if it wasn’t active any longer.

Nice quality work Lara. The only think I am not so happy with is black backgrounds for some of the flower images but that’s personal preference as a I frequently make life hard for myself by insisting on using natural light 🙂

Most of the ones with black backgrounds are natural light! Bouncing reflectors and such. but I have to admit a couple of the mariposas have flash fill. 🙂

I carry a large, three-sided black backdrop thingy that makes for a nice uncluttered background. but I know that lots of folks don’t like that approach.

thanks for taking a look hecate

LOL! I tend to try and light the background a little – I like the naturalistic look of green 😉
