Hi all, just started using photoshop/illustrator at college and enjoying it. We will soon be using flash. It it easy to use, and what will I be using it for? Any tips for me i.e. interesting flash web sites.

Try pointing your news reader of choice to – forums.macromedia.com There you will find a Flash group.

Flash is a nice program 🙂 Just buy yourself a nice beginners to intermediate book and do the inbuilt lessons in flash.

After that get a more advanced book and go from there, the macromedia forums and www.flashkit.com are great places for flash resources

Its an easy to use program but can be fidly sometimes. It is interesting to use but programming a whole site in flash is definatly not recommended, something like a flash navbar/intro is nice but again flash websites are a pain to update

Flash is basically an annimation program, that offers a good deal of interactivity. Suggestions on doing a bunch of tutorials are right on. If you have any background in cinema production, you will ahead of the curve.

Flash will even allow you to animate using two "ens" with no serious damage to your computer.
