I am using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 with Win98se ( I know this isn’t the best operating system to use but it’s all I’ve got for now). I have about 256 megs of ram, which is mostly devoted to Photoshop. When I click and drag to use the liquify, all I see are squares containing the same data that I am trying to modify. The changes I have made DO take place once I hit the ok button, but for some reason it will not preview it. Also, when I load up the Layer Styles screen (whether it be blending options or drop shadow)it takes waaaayyyy too long to load up, say about 3 or 4 minutes.
I have a feeling that the problems I am having are due to the small amount of RAM I have, but can anyone please help me figure out a way to get it working again? (It did work once, don’t know what happened)Thanks!!!

This is a video driver issue. Upgrade your video driver from the manufacturer’s web site.

Also, on the off chance that you’ve deselected the backdrop view, or altered it so that your liquifications are not visible, try this. Within Liquify, Alt.+mouse click on the cancel button (which will change to reset when you click Alt.), this will reset Liquify. Best of luck, Bryan
