hey guys
Im having problems choosing what format i should save my graphics in photoshop so that i could publish them on the web. See i have this heading bar that is a recangle 720×150 pixels. its just a black rectangle with a yellow line through and an title in simple font. When i saved it as JPEG quality size 5, it turned out to be 17.7 Kb. However, when i was surfing the net… i came across the website of NYIT (New York Institute of Technology) i really like their heading bar. It was full of gradients and colors and Text with lines and everything. So i saved the picture in my documents. Then i went and looked at its properties: it was a JPEG, very good quality, and had a size of 2.2 kb only!!!! i was shocked. I would really like to find a solution to minimizing the size of web graphics as well as maintaining their quality at the same time. Please send me any advise or insight if you have any…
