Is it possible in Photoshop to "link" or "reference" a seperate image file as a layer?
I use Photoshop in conjunction with MicroStation (CAD software) to produce Architectural presentation drawings. The normal process is to generate a postscript of the drawing in Microstation, bring it in to Photoshop and add colour etc on seperate layers.
This works fine until the CAD file is updated and i have to repeat the whole process.
What i want is to link the seperate postscript file to a photoshop layer so it will automatically update.

Any ides?

You need a page layout program to do that. Quark or InDesign.

No. Why not just take in the new CAD drawing as a new layer each time, and discard the previous version-layer? See the File -> Place command.
