I purchased Photoshop 7.0 this past July. Is there any chance that I will be able to upgrade to CS at a price lower than the 169.00 upgrade price?

You could enroll in school and get a student discount. Hey just kicken around ideas.

No, only if you bought PS 7.0 after 28th September when CS was announced are you are eligible for the free upgrade to CS.

I would apply anyway… I bought Macromedia Studio 2003 and was two weeks out of the free upgrade offer time, but I applied anyway and I got the free upgrade.

If you don’t ask, you don’t get.

If you bought it September 24, I’d suggest a call to Adobe, but you’re talking about more than two months before the CS announcement. My guess is you’re going to have simply shop for a better deal, pay the money to Adobe or stick with PS 7.
