I’ve been using photoshop tools with ease, today I tried to use my clone tool, clicked it, but my cursor was lost once it hit the image, same for dodge, burn tools. Mag, selection tools work well…what’s up?
Thanks!

Most likely reason I’ve seen is the brush size is set way large or nearly zero.

It may be your brush size is too large, as BobS suggests, or you may just need to dump your preferences. A good way to locate your cursor, is to press the space bar, which will convert the cursor to a hand. At least you will be able to see where it is. If you’re using your brush (or eraser) , you may have your Caps Lock on which will change it to cross hairs.

To dump your prefs, in Windows, press and hold Alt+Control+Shift immediately after launching Photoshop or with a Mac OS, hold down Option+Command+Shift.

I have seen this happen with some colors. The cursor should change to maintain visibilty. I have found cases where it doesn’t. For instance, the cursor does not show up very well on certain gray colors. I don’t think there is anything you can do about that.
