I have a LaCie monitor with an anti-glare coating. The instructions that came with the monitor say I should use special cleaners made for the purpose of not damaging that coating. Any recommendations? Thanks…….

The best thing to use is a soft cloth dampened with water and nothing else. It has always worked for me and you don’t want to be using ANY chemical cleaner that has even the slightest remote chance of damaging the coating. Once the coating fades or gets "wiped" away, your output will look like ka-ka and there’s not much you can do about it short of replacing the tube (which won’t be under warranty for this kind of damage).

Yes, and never use paper-based products such as paper towels to clean coated glass. Use soft cotton.
