Thank you,

Normally, no. However, from time to time Adobe have done special offers. Depends where you live. Check your local Adobe Web site.

Micheal,

If Adobe ARE offering an upgrade path from LE at the moment, you can only expect a VERY small discount on the full application price – probably less than you would get from many of the larger retailers

Thank you Len & Colin.

Doesn’t look good does it?

I live in Bermuda. This is not the sort of place where one finds deals! We are charged the maximum that the nmarket will bear.

Michael:

No, it does not look good. However, the good news is that you have another option: Photoshop Elements. This is very cheap to buy and has a very large proportion of the features that most amateur photographers need.

Michael,

When I upgraded from Photoshop 4 LE to 5 full, the cost was approximately $100 US over the 4 full to 5 upgrade. I suggest you contact Adobe directly and ask them if it is available and if so, what it would cost.

The first big improvement you will see is adjustment layers. You will be able to have a seperate layer for each adjustment AND be able to reversably change the opacity (fade the visibility) of each independently and, by toggling visible on and off, see what various combinations of adjustments looks like.

With either 7 or CS, you will pick up the healing brush. That alone was enough to convince me to make the switch from 6 to 7.
