Can’t place JPEG in PM file – RE: Invalid data

Why would a JPEG keep coming up as invalid data when I try to place it in a PM doc? If I save as a TIFF, it’s fine, but 3 times the size.

Perhaps it’s a progressive JPG. In any event, is size more important than quality?

Save as TIFF.

have you tried turning off the jpg thumbnails before saving?
