Hello, been using photoshop for years now. Since I got Photoshop 7, every picture I open is all yellow. The colors are never correct. They look fine in Windows as jpg’s. But as soon as I open in Photoshop, all weird.

I have to keep going up to View-Proof Setup-Monitor RGB and all is fine. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this new problem? I am not sending photos out to a printing press and I do not care about all these proof settings. I don’t want to have to do this procedure everytime I open an image. Thanks

Stephen

Everytime I do the Adobe Gamma Utility, i wind up very unhappy with my screen. Everything looks screwy.

I did some searching in Photoshop and turned off Color Correction Controld or something like that. Color Management, that’s it. Seems to be ok now.

Thanks

Stephen – nope, still not ok.

Either your video card drivers are really bad, you’re severely color blind, or you aren’t following the directions in Adobe Gamm.

No, video card is fine, not color blind, etc. Used Adobe Gamma on a few computers. Always prefer the default settings. But I will try again. It’s been a while. But turning Color Managament Off worked out well. =D
