When I upgraded from WIN 98 SE to WIN XP, I had to install a bunch of new drivers. Now whenever I boot PS 7, it says that it cannot find Tvichw32 Driver and that the ASPUI Layer Driver is missing, also. I’m guessing that these are for an old Scanport flatbed scanner that I sometimes use. I tried deleting then reinstalling the Scanport software and drivers, but no joy – although it now recognizers and runs the SDcanport scanner, it still says that these drivers are missing (a little window pops up and tells me; I hit OK, then the Scanner comes on.)
Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this, or where find to find the missing drivers? A thousand thanks in advance. Cliff Moore

Best bet is to format and install xp clean before you get any deeper. XP doesn’t like being installed over 9x/me. your call of course, but this could be just the tip of the iceburg.

Good advice there.

As far as the ASPI specific though, it’s because Win9x has it included in OS, but XP and W2K do not.

The latest Adaptec ASPI is at:
