Just some housekeeping questions to get some clarity on your inquiry.
Can you just not scan from Adobe products, but can from other apps, including the scanner’s native interface app?
Which Adobe products are you using (presumably Photoshop) and which version?
Have you updated to W2K SP4? Does that solve the problem?
Have you applied all the available software patches to your Adobe products?
Are you using the latest drivers/software for your scanner?
Do you have any diagnostic software (Norton Utilies, et al) that you can run on your machine?
Have you tried resetting your preference file in Photoshop?
What are your system specs?
Just a few questions to help shed some more light on your problem so that the many residents of this forum have more information to work from to help solve your problem.
