I found that when opening a C5050z RAW file in Photoshop CS, the colours are significantly duller and subdued compared to when the same file is opened under the Adobe Camera RAW plugin for Photoshop 7. I have heard of someone having this same issue with RAW files from their Canon 300D.

Has anyone had the same experience? Is there anyway to fix this?

I am having the same problem with RAW files fro the Nikon D100. Colors are not correct and contrast is very low. This is comparing it to the old Adobe Raw and Nikon Capture. I am getting closer by customizing the setting.

Thanks Craig,

That’s exactly whats happening to me, the colours are off and the contrast in extremely low. I can recover the photo for the most part but it’s nothing like it was before with the old plug-in.
