Color palette problem in CS?

In photoshop 7 you could hold down a keyboard combination at the same time you moved the slider in the color palette, the result was that all the sliders moved at the same time. Perfect to make a lighter or darker tone of your picked color. I just can´t get this to work in photoshop cs.
Maybe one of you pros out there can help me.

Strange. I don’t ever remember such a key combination. You can always use the flyout menu to change to Lab sliders or HSB sliders and play with the L or B value.

Hi Kolbe,

Perhaps you are thinking about Indesign? Holding Shift moves the sliders together but I can’t recall Photoshop having this feature…

I can’t quite remember if I used it in PS7 or not, but you still could use the Ctrl key in Illustrator 9 to do that. It moved all the sliders together. Perhaps this can be a feature request, since they already have the code for it<G>
