text not displaying

I don’t know if I hit a key combo that I am unaware of, but I can’t manage to see text that I am typing in.

I checked to make sure the text layer was in front of all others, color was correct, and that the layer was on the proper mode. However, the text won’t actually be visiable. I can select the text once typed, but I cannot see what I am selecting.

You might have the opacity set very low.
Are you sure you selected an other color distinct from the background. Double click on the color in the Text Palette not in the Tools Palette to set your color.

If you can’t find the setting or settings causing the issue, you can always try to reset the type tool. This takes care of all the settings, including ones you may not have found yet.
